New to Inwood? Here’s a quick checklist to help you get settled.
Set up City utilities (water, sewer, garbage)
Contact City Hall: (712) 753-4833
Complete the City’s utility application to start service. Form can be found and downloaded below, otherwise you may grab a form at the City Hall office. Note: A $100 deposit is required to establish services.
Trash, recycling, and yard waste Garbage pickup: Friday mornings (all garbage must fit in the cart).
Stickers are available at City Hall for extra garbage or large items. Recycling: every other Monday (must be clean and dry). You may pick up a recycling brochure at the City Hall office. Yard waste: not allowed in garbage—please use the tree dump (yard waste only).

Outdoor burning reminder
Recreational fires are allowed with seasoned wood only. No garbage, leaves, or cardboard.
No other open burning is allowed.
